This typeface is inspired by a traditional chicken noodle street food store in Indonesia. I want to make this typeface as simple as possible but also appealing in people's eyes. The chicken noodle contain noodle, minced chicken, chicken dumpling and of course some fried crispy pangsit. In each every stroke of the typeface there something sharp at the middle and that's represent the fried pangsit and also the typeface that i made is rather slim and semi elastic that represent the thin and almost chewy noodle.
This typeface is inspired in terms of flavor seasonings and shape of coconut skewers. Coconut skewers which taste the taste sweet, savory and spicy for those who want to add cayenne pepper.
shape of the curve indicates sweetness, parts of letters that sharp shows spicy flavor, so the formations of letters is varied and put together in the formation of the font, its the same thing taste seasoning coconut skewers that have a variety of flavors in 1 seasoning, not all formations letters using arch. Then in terms of shape this coconut skewers there are not too big, i make this typeface slim
This typeface was inspired by Indonesian food called 'Sate Kelopo'. In the corner of the stem there is a serif to show the ' serundeng' or called coconut from 'Sate Kelopo'. Between the stem and the stroke there is a gap to show that in each stick of the satay , there are 4-5 meats which stabbed one by one. And in every meats there is a little gap in it that show a gap between the stem and stroke.
