The basis for the Bevel font. Give this a medium-color. Use together with Bevel North, Bevel East and/or Bevel South to give depth to font. Superimpose these fonts over each other.

a typeface centred around the key theme/word 'shadow'. I started looking at how the time of day effected the shape and the size of the subsequent shadow cast. However, I then moved onto the ideas of bevels and a more subtle shadow effect created by raised centres of the letterforms. The 'impossible triangle' effect came from a idea that was brought up in a critique about 'extending it and making it really elaborate'. The name is chosen because I think that typefaces should have friendly names.
