My typeface is inspired by the lettering that people vandalise park benches with by scratching intials or short phrases onto them. It is a jagged font replicating the inability to scratch curves effectively when using a knife on metal or wood. The characters vary slightly in size in order to achieve a hand made effect.

P.S. There’s a starting character on Í (option+shift+s for Mac). Spaces can be used to pad the wave effect and create shapes and background textures. Enjoy!

This is my second fontstruction for a project during the first term of my study in Graphic Design at UWE. I have based this typeface on a similar (un-named) font that has been found in a Typefounders Catalogue dated before 1955, I really liked a lot of the ornate qualities and decided to bring this forgotten typeface into the modern day by replicating features of it through this digital medium.
