I tried to replicate an old VCR font from various images and pieces of video online. A few of the letters and all of the symbols were entirely speculation.

Can you make it monospace for the true VCR experience.

Again, you can use the private use areas for the left, right, up, etc. symbols

@brynda: Fontstruct supports private characters or are you referring to Microsoft's Private Character Editor (eudcedit)?
