New concept for a elegant inlined high contrast serif design.

The idea was to create a convincing numeral set first, and than to use that as the starting point to extrapolate into a full font.

These is what became of the numerals, I think there is definetely a potential here, suggestions?

Nice numbers. I would move the central zone of 2 up, because it seems unbalanced.

Same for 9.

I wonder if Sed could add a set of tabular figures that are all the same width with the above sample.

Comment by Bryndan W. Meyerholt (BWM) 2nd june 2023

@BWM: yes those are possible, I will include them into the font.

@elmoyenique: Yeah you are right, I initially did those mid-sections somewhat offset hoping to get more of an Art-Deco feel.

I wonder about an oldstyle (.onum) set before I forget. Are those—and .tnum.onum—possible as well?

@BWM: I made a sample image of various text figures to answer you question:

Remember the inlined "Didone" style modern serif numeral concepts I showed in the top of this comment section a while back? Ever wondered if it had gone somewhere? I guess y'all have forgotten about that one, haven't ya?

Allow me...

Its finally worth showing some off a little. My apologies for not publishing, but progress is very slow due to the insane complexity (small grid craziness).
At least from this point forward I feel confident enough to say that its just a matter of time, but I'm sure I can pull this off and complete the font.

I hope you like it so far.

cheers

This is what I have got so far.

Keep in mind that many character still need modifications or even redesign.
