I agree with djnippa that the invader above A limits the usage. A way to expand the usage possibilities would be to move the invader over the A to some other character (say lowercase i) and position it to the left of the left side bearing (the vertical blue line). Then all you have to do to get the invader over A (or any other character) would be to type A followed by the i. Because invader on the i exist to the left of the character's space, it would overlap the A giving you the same result as now, with the added benefit of the invader being able to, er, invade any other character as well.
