  • This was my third attempt at creating a successful font for my UWE graphic design project. I originally picked flaccid for my theme however when it came to generating my ideas they seemed very similar to other fonts already made, this led me to take one of my experiments and use it to base my font; Links. focused on repetition and patterns i chose to keep it simple and tried to make a complex looking pattern. any comments would be appreciated.

Very attractive, joyful, playful with those 'curves' :) For my eyes the A is a bit wide, narrowing by moving the circle on the base from diagonal to vertical would look more in keeping I think. The G looks quite narrow by comparison, try using the C shape to build the G. I like C, Q, R and S. Overall, I like it :)

Cheers glad you liked it, I thought something was wrong with the A thanks for the help :)

What a luxury here! I'll tried something like this in one unpublished font (so poor, you see; I add a sample), but without success.

Overall this works well. I think the 'round' glyphs (C, G, O and Q) are a bit too narrow. I would also use the same format for the E and F (probably the one used for the F).

Still worth 10/10

This is looking really nice. It flows nicely. Is there a way to modify your 'm' or 'w' a bit so there not the same?

Cheers man, yeah still need to play around with some of the letters, definitely the 'm' and 'w'

Now this is some new technique!
It's rare seeing UWE students NOT using bezier curves. A very fine use of fonstructor!
