I made a full ASCII font (without duplicate glyphs) lately… it's extremely difficult to get it close to be legible (it took me at least 2 full days). I may share it here soon (it'll be available as a file or image on my site beforehand, at least). But my '#' and 'm' are not well legible (because of dupes considerations).
