This is one of the ways I've always wanted to use layering in Fontstruct. Finally, it's possible :) Just a quick font to test the new feature - a grey shadow (ligh source from left to right) that is cast on inner white space of the letters.
P.S. I won't be able to sleep today, so many ideas to test... Thank you, Rob!

This looks pretty nice (including the shading effect)
Great font and gray effect, compañero! Your great KD Xxies first sample with gray bows immediately came to mind. I think they could now be added to the original font. 10 2U.

@elmoyenique: Yes, but KD Xxies is much more complicated so I will leave its shadow variant for another day. Currently I am working on another idea ;) And oh, I should finish the numbers here.
