Recreation of the pixel font from Bits Studio/Flying Edge's "Terminator 2: Judgement Day" (1991) on the Sega Mega Drive. In game, the font uses a subtle form of antialiasing on the top-left-most pixel, which has been omitted from this recreation. Only the characters present in the game's tile set have been included.

Excellent reproduction, as always. Thanks for helping prevent all these unique typefaces from vanishing into the ether!

Do you focus on specific consoles or eras of gaming? Just curious.

@zephram with consoles, i grew up in the golden days when the NES was super common, the SNES and Mega Drive were the dream machines that everybody aspired to (and we would sneak to the department store in our school lunch breaks to play the games they had on display there), and you'd still go out in the evening and play arcade machines in bars and pool halls. i'm mostly reliving my childhood and rediscovering old games i remember from the time (late 80s, early 90s). i'm also expanding my historical knowledge by going way back to earlier games, and seminal titles that came later...

and once i play one game and find it has interesting fonts, i then start researching any related games/sequels/etc. it's all good fun :)
