I've tried to make this sampler look "awesome" ;)
"A funny thing happened to me on the way to....." I wonder why this happened?
The 2px space can be used to detach glyphs for usual letter space. 3x space gives a good gap letter-punctuation. 5x space is a reasonable word space, but do experiment to find what works for you.
