Tuileries Black is a typeface heavily influenced by Hoftype's Danton as it can be found here: https://www.myfonts.com/fonts/hoftype/danton/ Of course, it somehow went into a different direction, but since Danton is far better, I recommend you buy that one instead of wasting your time here... ;-)

A neat modern serif font; I'd love to see (and use) a thinner version with diacritics :) Danton is no option as not so unusual

Mind if I try smoothing this out to make it less square and making proportions better? (In Glyphs)

Great work here! I can think (IMHO) it's in progress... I'm hoping for the great results when the font will be completed, as usual!
