By working from the word "Systematic", I wanted to produce something that used shapes as the letterforms themselves. The type needed to be well-proportioned and clear with little detail - just crisp angles and lines. I worked with grids to construct the letterforms in order to develop the basic structure of each one. I'd love to expand on the typeface further by playing with bolder lines, different shapes and more obscure formations. -
