The font used for the timer in Trackmania Turbo illustrates a case of 'less is more'. The glyphs are simple and only need a 3x7 grid, yet works great for the purpose of a chronograph.

        Recently I revisited TrackMania United Forever, a great online racing game from Nadeo. There are other *Mania games out there and their logotypes share the same, "inline" stylistic, so several characters are based on them - the rest is just inspiration. And there's a competition going on too, so couldn't resist. Alternatives for D and O. Time zones are a bit confusing, so I hope that it's not too late! Update: converted remaining uppercase letters to lowercase.
