Ornate Vines

I created this font for a graphic design project at bristol uwe. A font inspired by door handles, gates, anything that has an 'entrance' and is ornate looking. Alot of my research was carried out in Bath. I experimented with photography and wire to start with but mostly focused on drawing. The main elements to my type are vines and swirls. -
