A slab-serif stencil. Made on a relatively small grid - hence a couple of spacing issues - but I've never been one for faux curves.

Very good. 10/10

Thanks for the kind words - maybe not the most creative entry, but I wanted to focus on practicality with this one. Also a sort of self-imposed challenge to make something with real curves, high legibility, some interesting (if only vaguely) idiosyncrasies, consistent bridge-widths, whilst keeping an even colour.

Some recent (barely perceptible) optical adjustments made on a number of letters for better overall spacing. New sample will follow.

I’ve been very impressed by this fontstruction from day one. So clean, and it includes a highly polished extended character set! The only character that doesn’t quite fit for me is M. Does it work better with steeper diagonal strokes?
Comment by William Leverette (will.i.ૐ) 31st october 2012
Thanks Will - very kind words.

With regards the M, they've been steepened once already - as you may just about be able to tell by the difference in the sample. But I think you're right, they could do with being wedged in a little more. They look a little precariously balanced, in comparison to the rest of the family's rigidity.

I'm not entirely sure if the limitations of the grid permit an *ideal* angle, but I'll have a go.

Edit - they do, and it does.
