Clone of Atari Serif. Large font used in numerous Atari video arcade games, 1984-1987. As the original font uses three different colors for a font-smoothing effect, I attempted to replicate it in two-color by using differently-sized squares. Not sure how well that works; as such, any suggestions are welcome. Best below 20 pt.

1st of all: Thank you for bringing me back cheerful memories.
2nd I may say it looks amazing at PXL size.
4th if you don't expand it, consider it cloned :)
3rd It's monospace! I ♥ Grids, yeah!

I wrote my comment on the other version. The same applies here. Just one question: do these fontstructions qualify to be pixel fonts? 10/10

Perhaps we need a new category ... Enhanced Pixel Fonts maybe :) 10/10

well i said 'pixel font preservation,' but i think goatmeal would correct me and perhaps say 'classic digital game font preservation' is more precise :)

Thanks, everyone!

I always feel like I'm running out of interesting examples -- that the end is nigh, and I only have a precious few worth-while VG fonts left to make. I thought I was almost finished half-way through 2009, but somehow I keep finding new inspirations from these old video arcade games.

I really appreciate the encouragement, and continue to press on!
