Maybe add parentheses for the most stable isotopes of radioactive elements

Comment by Bryndan W. Meyerholt (BWM) Sun, 13th august

@BWM: Thank you for your ideas, and indeed, I will consider it. Do you have other suggestions for improving the "K"? I'm not competent of drawing letters in large areas of pixel.

Comment by Kiên Trung (trungdangTrung Kiên) Sun, 13th august

Would something like this work?

Comment by Bryndan W. Meyerholt (BWM) Sun, 13th august

@BWM: Whoa, this one is perfect! Thank you! (Gonna take a long time to complete the whole periodic table...)

Comment by Kiên Trung (trungdangTrung Kiên) Sun, 13th august

THE MIRACLE OF MY LIFE HAS HAPPENED

A PERIODIC TABLE FONT IN FS

GONNA NOTIFY LUCAPRI

Comment by digitalio Mon, 14th august

wow!

Comment by lucapri Mon, 14th august

for lowercase you could do more elements

Comment by lucapri Mon, 14th august

for Q you could do the old UUQ

Comment by lucapri Mon, 14th august

element 114, livermorium's old symbol

Comment by lucapri Mon, 14th august

@lucapri: I'm creating this as a Breaking Bad reference, so for the lowercase, I'll design it as a normal character though, also, Uuq (ununquadium) is called (Fl) Flerovium now, or maybe I should put Uuq and (Fl) Flerovium in this font too?

Comment by Kiên Trung (trungdangTrung Kiên) Mon, 14th august

@BWM: Because I want to design it as a Breaking Bad reference, so all the things I will put in is: The name, the symbol, the atomic number, the atomic weight and the electron per shell.

Comment by Kiên Trung (trungdangTrung Kiên) Mon, 14th august

oh... well just put FL

whatever

Comment by lucapri Mon, 14th august

LTO does the spanish name of the first letter of this text

Comment by lucapri Mon, 14th august

When will you fontstruct today?

Comment by digitalio Wed, 16th august

@BWM: Do you have any suggestions for my V and W?

Comment by Kiên Trung (trungdangTrung Kiên) Wed, 16th august

the W could be the M upside down, and the V could use the diagonals of the M, but with the same thickness as the K and the leg of the R.

Also, the spacing should be a whole number value

Comment by Bryndan W. Meyerholt (BWM) Wed, 16th august

Well, the V in the symbol of Vanadium is weird.

Comment by digitalio Wed, 16th august

@digitalio: Yeah, it does appear strange; perhaps looking at other fonts can inspire me.

Comment by Kiên Trung (trungdangTrung Kiên) Wed, 16th august

@digitalio, @BWM: What are your thoughts on this?

Comment by Kiên Trung (trungdangTrung Kiên) Wed, 16th august

It looks good. I wonder if the big letters in the middle could have its own font?

Comment by Bryndan W. Meyerholt (BWM) Wed, 16th august

@BWM: I'll make that one when I finish KVN-Hoahoc.

Comment by Kiên Trung (trungdangTrung Kiên) Wed, 16th august

Well, 2k7, it's better.

Comment by digitalio Thu, 17th august

I'm going to create the lowercase letters for this font, I will recreate this as a BB reference, I hope it won't take me too much time to add these

Comment by Kiên Trung (trungdangTrung Kiên) Thu, 17th august

Proposal for a better Y (Resize just in case).

For a better X, mirror from the 'At middle' to the top part horizontally and put it below the original part.

Comment by digitalio Thu, 17th august

Oh, and TUNGSTEN used to be WOLFRAMINE or WOLFRAMIUM in english.

Comment by digitalio Thu, 17th august

@digitalio: I like that idea, just not to make the middle of the Y too thick, it'll be good.

Comment by Kiên Trung (trungdangTrung Kiên) Thu, 17th august

@digitalio: How about this?

Comment by Kiên Trung (trungdangTrung Kiên) Thu, 17th august

@digitalio: And also, thank for your idea about the X, it's look much better now.

Comment by Kiên Trung (trungdangTrung Kiên) Thu, 17th august

@Kiên

That's good. I forgot the fact that the 'At Middle' part was too thick yesterday.

Comment by digitalio Fri, 18th august

You can also make a better V removing the lower part, and a better W doing 2 V's.

Comment by digitalio Fri, 18th august

Like these ones

Comment by digitalio Fri, 18th august

@digitalio: That's a great idea. Thank for your suggestions.

Comment by Kiên Trung (trungdangTrung Kiên) Fri, 18th august

@BWM: What are your thoughts on the new V and W?

Comment by Kiên Trung (trungdangTrung Kiên) Fri, 18th august

I'm making a smooth version of this font!

Comment by digitalio Sat, 19th august

*A flipped

Comment by digitalio Sat, 19th august

@Kiên,

Why did you not fontstruct for almost 2 days straight?

Comment by digitalio Mon, 21st august

Can you kern the Ti like this?

Comment by digitalio Tue, 22nd august

That T is offset and looks weird in its presented form.

Comment by Sed4tives Tue, 22nd august

@digitalio: Sorry, because of school works (I'm 16, by the way), I cannot FontStruct everyday, maybe I will add more glyphs and fix some of them too. We're very busy in here.

@Sed4tives: Hmm, I will look after that, also, do you think the dot off the i should be in the same height as the Uppercase?

<Right now from this message, it's 11:13 PM in my country now, if you have any suggestions  for me to fix or redesign the letters, please tell me>

Comment by Kiên Trung (trungdangTrung Kiên) Tue, 22nd august

@Kiên:

Oooohhhhhhhhhhh.

Anyways, yes.

Comment by digitalio Wed, 23rd august

Uhh... the element counter isn't changing.

Comment by digitalio Sun, 27th august

@digitalio: If you notice something is wrong, it will probably because I was making a mistakes (please tell me) OR I was going to do something else so I saved it (although it's not finished)

Comment by Kiên Trung (trungdangTrung Kiên) Sun, 27th august

@Kiên:

There are currently 30 elements here.

Comment by digitalio Sun, 27th august

All the elements are placed at the glyphs in the font Heart Breaking Bad.

For example, $ is Neon in this font and the other one (Heart Breaking Bad).

Comment by digitalio Sun, 27th august

What is the 'Registered-

Oh, ®.

Comment by digitalio Thu, 31st august

Can you shorten the 'Rutherfordium' name so that the numbers are bold and the name font is still the same?

Comment by digitalio Thu, 31st august

@digitalio: I don't know what to do, maybe it'll look like this?

Comment by Kiên Trung (trungdangTrung Kiên) Thu, 31st august

I thought just putting the name font normal and putting only the first part until it doesn't fit and add an ... , but, yeah, that works too.

Comment by digitalio Fri, 1st september

Design for a better N because the original one is off.

Comment by digitalio Fri, 1st september

@digitalio: What do you think of this N?

Comment by Kiên Trung (trungdangTrung Kiên) Fri, 1st september

⁸/₁₀

Comment by digitalio Fri, 1st september

The r's intersection from the stem to that other part is way thin, just like g.

Comment by digitalio Fri, 1st september

@digitalio:

Comment by Kiên Trung (trungdangTrung Kiên) Fri, 1st september

Option B

Comment by digitalio Fri, 1st september

The font grows very well. C'mon!

Comment by elmoyenique Fri, 1st september

The 'g' isn't changed.

Comment by digitalio Sat, 2nd september

Why don't you put the radioactive image for the radioactive elements?

Comment by digitalio Mon, 4th september

@digitalio: I don't want to add too much details about the elements, and if I can, where should I put it?

Comment by Kiên Trung (trungdangTrung Kiên) Mon, 4th september

I think that it should go below the atomic weight.

Comment by digitalio Tue, 5th september

Like this (And fix the decimal points that are diagonally adjacent to the 10ths place):

Comment by digitalio Tue, 5th september

@digitalio: Ok, wait, you're TEN YEARS OLD and you're learning CHEMISTRY?????????
I haven't heard about Chemistry until I was 13!

Comment by Kiên Trung (trungdangTrung Kiên) Wed, 6th september

Well, not really, but I've got 2 notebooks that has the Periodic Table.

That's how I know.

Comment by digitalio Thu, 7th september

PS: I'm inactive.

Comment by digitalio Thu, 7th september

*DESCRIPTION r/ENGRISH*

Hafmium? I thought it was always Hafnium

Comment by digitalio Fri, 8th september

Huh, it was always Hafnium, the name wasn't spelt wrong.

Comment by Kiên Trung (trungdangTrung Kiên) Fri, 8th september

The description reads:

Haf M ium

Comment by digitalio Fri, 8th september

Sept. 8, 9

You didn't do anything.

Comment by digitalio Sun, 10th september

@digitalio: I just added 2 more elements; the Sept.8 and 9, I didn't do anything, so in today (Sept. 10), I add something, same thing will happen in the 11th and 12th

Comment by Kiên Trung (trungdangTrung Kiên) Sun, 10th september

@digitalio: FUN FACT: Some of the 3-letter chemical names is called systematic element names. It is the temporary name assigned to an unknown or recently synthesized chemical element.

Comment by Kiên Trung (trungdangTrung Kiên) Sun, 10th september

yeah, like UnUnuQuarium. that's literally the sugestion by lucapri for Q.

Comment by digitalio Sun, 10th september

today i'm going to school

Comment by digitalio Mon, 11th september

it's october 3...

Comment by digitalio Tue, 3rd october

Time flies, doesn't it? I'm in the middle of the first semester now, I hope I can have more free time so I can add more glyphs to the font but not now :'((

Comment by Kiên Trung (trungdangTrung Kiên) Tue, 3rd october

i was gonna ask you 'are you alive' you've benn WAY more inactive than i expected

Comment by digitalio Fri, 6th october

Yeah, in case you don't know, I'm a high school student, so unlike you, you are a middle school (or a primary school) student, you sure have a lot of free time, so you can play more. I am way busier than that, as a 11th-grade, I have to do so much things, learn so many new things, and I only have 2 years left, so I spent...pretty large amount of time just......studying.

Comment by Kiên Trung (trungdangTrung Kiên) Sat, 7th october

@digitalio: Guess what? I'm trying to be more active so, yeah, I'll finally add glyphs again.

Comment by Kiên Trung (trungdangTrung Kiên) Tue, 10th october

@kiên:

i did not definetly know you were in high school

Comment by digitalio Tue, 10th october
