@_idle_eye - A very nice approximation. The original is the Windows screen font "System" (filename: vgasys.fon / style: Bold / size: 10), found on Windows 3.x through Windows 10. It replaced Fixedsys, which was the 'system' font for Windows 1.0 and 2.0.
H is wider than the watermark found on Wikipedia. Compared with this font at size 84.
Also it looks like that the spacing between the letters is a bit off.

It's probs MS Sans Serif
@BWM Maybe, but nothing I've found has the same "U" or "r" as the original watermark, possibly having to do with the scaling of a/the bitmap font.
Awesome font, but the lowercase t is 1 pixel taller than the one in original watermark (everything else seems accurate). Original watermark

I believe it's "System" aka "fixedsys". I've used it a few time for HyperCan 2 style watermarks and works like a charm.
@WinNebusa The fixedsys font is monospaced…

And the p is longer than in the original?!
