  • Clone of Tirrel (by Doug Peters).  Copyright 2019 Doug Peters.

This version has the 'hard' alternates.  These are the caps in 'Tirrel'.  The idea is that if someone is used to using the shift key and only wants the harder style of the font, they can use this version and they will get all the caps versions of Tirrel whether they use shift or caps lock (or not).

In the Fullwidths and Halfwidths letterset, Tirrel font has hard style versions of the numbers, just so it had both versions.  The hard versions are now in Basic Latin and if you were digging down into that letterset you may well have been expecting an alternate, so I put the soft version of the numerals there.

OK, Even though "Tirrel" font has the "Tirrel Hard" font lowercase caps in the Tirrel font uppercase, I decided to add some variation to Tirrel Hard font, so I made the capitals in the uppercase register more defined characters, and lowercase are more interpretive.

I'm still debating this move, though, since originally the idea was to have the same characters in uppercase and lowercase to thwart dumbass graphic design stupidity.  But it's also easy enough for me to create a matching uppercase and lowercase logotype version of the prefered case, too.

So maybe that would work out for service after the sale and some extra mod cash?  ;)
