Clone of Werner and vastly improved although some more glyphs are needed (like Greek or Russian). It can be used with the parent font. Rounded corners give it the charm so often lacking in 'print' fonts. It provides a pleasant text experience. Takapuna is legible at smaller sizes. I named it after the home town of my penfriend.

Red text: Takapuna. Blue text: Werner (Takapuna's parent) and from OsyenVyeter I used [Arcane] to frame. He wondered where his font might be used ...

I added the 2 popular extended Latins, completed the 'more Latin' set and tidied some cap-line bricks.

Very useable.

The 3 looks to be leaning backwards a wee bit.

Thanks p2p, I'm glad to get this type of observation as I often work 'non-stop' on a font and can't see the wood for the trees. I started upgrading this 2 weeks ago and even after 4 days of distance since I thought it was done I still hadn't noticed the strange look of the 3. I just made the bowl larger and changed the angle to the ascender. Something I should have done but simply hadn't registered before publishing.

Looks fine now.

It's amazing how we can work on a design for ages and miss something that someone else sees immediately. elmoyenique has the best eyes here I think - he always finds those pesky stray bricks etc.
