This is my first typeface, based on the theme of 'Squishy'. For this font I was inspired by the shape of Marshmallows stucked together. I researched things that are sweet, hugable and cute. At first I came up with an idea of Candy Canes - this is where I started experimenting with stripes. These letters, in fact, were too 'blocky' for Squishy theme, but little 'spongy' curves did the job! This font is perfect for Christmas, Birthday cards, candy candy shop' branding and titles for children's books.

'On The Edge' is a sans-serif font loosely inspired by the film 'Candy'. The film tells the story of a couple addicted to heroin and shows their life being forced into downwards spiral. My font is supposed to represent how their lives are slipping over the edge. If you imagine the top part of each letter is flat on a surface, the bottom half appears to be sliding off the surface, creating tension as if it about to drop. I can see this font mostly being used for posters and titles.
