A beautiful thin deco-age font! A true beauty 10/10

An excellent and well crafteds design.

I wonder whether the thin lines would benefit from being a wee bit thicker (they disappear at smaller sizes in the sample).

The following might help you with smoothing the curves a bit more - - just clone it and copy the composites on the 'D' glyph into your own work - don't forget to delete them when you have finished :)

I'm sorry to say All Bricks 6 is unfortunately out of date, and missing many new composites.
Here is the original essential tool called All Composites In My Bricks, which All Bricks 6 is an older copy of.
Add it as your FAV, trust me you'll be using it a lot. I know many of the top Fontstructors don't start a new font without it. All the best.

Sorry Ray, that comes across as a bit rude. It was not my intention.
Comment by djnippa 4th april 2014
I'm already using All Composites In My Bricks, it's just that because my thin lines are half a brick wide I could only use the ones at a gradient of 4 and I could only use those when in between 2 bricks, for there are no half brick versions of any of the composites.

@p2pnut You're right; the lines are too thin at smaller sizes. Once I've added in all the glyphs that I will ever intend on making, I will clone this font and make Canary Bold.

@djnippa: No problem buddy - I usually include 'All Composites In My Bricks', but forgot this time.

Whilst my 'All Bricks' is far less comprehensive I find the 'toolbox' to be a useful selection for most curves.

What I do need to do is update mine with the up-tp-date version of 'All Composites In My Bricks'.

@p2pnut: Would it be possible to make half versions of some of the composites, as I have most excellently illustrated here?
Comment by Cohnisgone 5th april 2014
Do you mean these? If yes they are in My Composites.
Comment by djnippa 5th april 2014
@djnippa: The problems with those are a) they are all at the same angle, and b) they all advance from the bottom left to the top right.
Comment by Cohnisgone 5th april 2014
@Cohnisgone You can flip them...
Comment by Evie Atarax (j4s13) 5th april 2014
The problem with flipping them is that, at least for me, when one stacks them it goes awry.
Comment by Cohnisgone 5th april 2014
@Cohnisgone Find the brick that is flipped according to the brick about to be stacked.
Comment by Evie Atarax (j4s13) 5th april 2014
I once tried that, and concluded that I didn't have the intelligence/patience to bother.
Comment by Cohnisgone 5th april 2014
I only did one angle (bottom left to top right), as there are 3 other variations of each shaped brick, depending on which angle and direction you want. That's 88 bricks (I think) .To have them all would simply take up too much space in the menu.
You can either rotate and flip horizontally/ vertically yourself, or will have to create the other angles by making the composites.
To see how I composed the 'slashes' click he arrow key over a brick, wile holding down the SHIFT key.
Here are the other possibilities.
Comment by djnippa 5th april 2014
...and some very rough sample curves using half bricks.
Comment by djnippa 5th april 2014
Great font, I'm truly a N0Øß when it comes to composites, but this font is one of the best I've seen on FS. Instant favorite.
