  • People are afraid. That's what makes us human. It's part of our animal instinct - when we come across something dangerous, our fight-or-flight instinct kicks in. I surveyed a class of students and asked them what they found frightening. The responses were varied, and although some were predictable, and others highly unusual, I found a common theme in many; things that bite, claw, and sting. With this in mind I started to design this font using shapes inspired by both the teeth of modern domestic dogs and of wild wolves. That's why I chose to name it 'Fenrir' - the great wolf of Norse mythology.
