Stunning sample, elmo! Masterful design making good use of a larger grid than ‘necessary’ to allow for finer control of diagonals. And I really love the little ‘semi-serif’ details on the caps.
One suggestion: try shortening the arm of the ‘a’ just a wee bit. I think it will work just a bit better that way (you could line up its extent with the top line of shoulder of the bowl that just starts to “curve” inward).
