Nice to see you back!
Precious font! Happy New 2021 to you too, Maestro! ❤️
Beautiful design, well worth the wait
@Hensilly Thanks... for the countdown and the wecome. HNY!
@elmo Thank you, Maestro!
@time.peace. Thanks. So many more to dust off...
@meek Thanks for the TP! Great way to start the new year!
The small caps work very well on your sample. Have you thought about including them in the font in some way? They would be very cool.
Amazing work
@Nick - Thanks!
@elmo - Yeah, I had to take them out because I didn't know where I should properly put them. I'm wishing for a new FS OpenType feature where we'd be able to do that.
Yeah 2021 is AWESOME!
Very elegant!
@geneus1: There is a font on myfonts.com with the same name "Saline". It's a nice connected script designed by Mika Melvas. Do you know him/her? Its copyright goes back to 2012. It appears you have the prior claim. I came across that work in May 2013 while preparing to the Connected Script Competition.
@Hensilly Make it so! :-)
@four Thanks!
@Frodo Do I know Mika Melvas, the self-taught font designer/art director from Finland with over 30 handpainted fonts to his name on MyFonts.com? No, unfortunately I do not. But his Saline font is interesting in how the uppercase is normal looking while the lowercase is cursive, resulting in an effective hybrid. As for the name, since his came out as a salable product first, I'd just change mine if it were ever to go public commercially, even if it is to just add a G1 before it.
