Beautiful!

You've got to sell this font somewhere. I'd buy it!
Comment by Isaac González (1saac) 28th july 2013
Precious!
Comment by elmoyenique 28th july 2013
@1saac: http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/ray-meadows/rm-victoriana/

Thank me later. ;)
Comment by William Leverette (will.i.ૐ) 28th july 2013
@Ray: Wow, I didn’t notice when you spruced this one up with composites. You really buffed it out, just look at it shine! Lovin’ it! That E! Brilliant!

p.s. It’s weird, on the actual MyFonts version your P has some little artifact or glitch on the left portion of it’s lower serif.
Comment by William Leverette (will.i.ૐ) 28th july 2013
...and it’s not just the P – any glyph that used that component has the glitch. I bet you it was a download error where the fontmortar spit out several brick substitutions that you can’t see in the fontstructor. I hate it when that happens! X(

Let me know if you can’t figure out how to fix it in the download file, and I can lend you some assistance. :D
Comment by William Leverette (will.i.ૐ) 28th july 2013
Happened to me once, I hated it big time.
Comment by Evie Atarax (j4s13) 28th july 2013
@will.i.ૐ: That is strange! Thanks for letting me know. I checked (and re-downloaded), but nothing shows up at even the largest sizes in Word or Paint Shop Pro.
All I can really do is re-submit this to MyFonts and point out the problem (which appears to be at their end).
Comment by p2pnut 29th july 2013
Beautifully crafted letters, love the ampersand !!

Oh, and the glitch? When you complaining about that little addition to the glyph, I complain about that little subtraction on my glyphs, I mean, when downloaded, it shows up split slightly on the upper or lower parts... and it happened many times, so annoying...

@will I think I need some download assistance ;)

Thanks will.i.ૐ & nice font p2pnut, hope to see it soon on a film title or on a restaurant's name.

Wish you success in your commercial experiences. This one is perfect for fairy tale movies.
Comment by kassymkulov 30th july 2013
Thanks all - and to Mr M for the TP :) (after all these years it still gives me a warm feeling when I get the pink spot)
Comment by p2pnut 30th july 2013
It's so good and even better than Ginger! Will you allow downloads or keep it like this?
Comment by Jamie Place (FontBlast) 30th july 2013
He's selling it commercially so I presume not.
Comment by Houlaiziaa 30th july 2013
Sorry FB but, as Umbreon126 says, this is one of my commercial fonts.
The new Licence has allowed me to share my commercial work - so that people can see what I have been up to recently :)
Comment by p2pnut 31st july 2013
Great job Ray! Very masterful. I remember back when someone was having trouble figuring out faux beziers in FS.

I felt there was something familiar about the name, then I remembered this, which was more vainglorious than Victorian.
Comment by geneus1 4th august 2013
Thanks Gene. Sorry for the (unintentional) use of your original title. I do hope you will allow me to carry on using this ... hopefully the 'RM' prefix will help to differentiate them.
Comment by p2pnut 4th august 2013
It's no problem. I was just pointing out the naming coincidence. Cheers. :-D
Comment by geneus1 6th august 2013
Why is there a "long s" in this font? The "long s" exists only as a lowercase character. It would make more sense to include a German capital "sharp s". Ignoring that, I consider this a very good font.
Comment by jimhv 11th august 2013
@jimhv: Sorry, not being a German speaker (or writer) I guess I am likely to make such a mistake :(

This was done before the addition of the 'capital sharp s' to the More Latin Set.

When I can I will reduce the height of the 'small sharp s' to that of the small caps.
Comment by p2pnut 11th august 2013
Done it ... hopefully that is better.
Comment by p2pnut 11th august 2013

Almost all letters and symbols I need on my Germano-Polish keyboard. (äößüąćęńśżź) Could you please add 2 letters more to your font? Ł and ł (Extended Latin A)? :) Moreover 10/10
