Also I think with LCD fonts I prefer the punctuation to hang in-between the characters. (e.g. the colon, which looks somewhat like an equal sign)
I've made up a sample for your font based on Doc Brown's "time circuits" in Back to the Future.
I'm not the happiest about the 5 either, but I was copying from what Wikipedia had in the animated 16-segment image on the 14-segment display article. I think this is not to confuse it with the uppercase S.
Perhaps I'll make another version with the punctuation as you prefer.
