my only real criticism is I don't like the slant in the lower half of the 5.

Also I think with LCD fonts I prefer the punctuation to hang in-between the characters. (e.g. the colon, which looks somewhat like an equal sign)

I've made up a sample for your font based on Doc Brown's "time circuits" in Back to the Future.

I'm not the happiest about the 5 either, but I was copying from what Wikipedia had in the animated 16-segment image on the 14-segment display article. I think this is not to confuse it with the uppercase S.

Perhaps I'll make another version with the punctuation as you prefer.

maybe a way to 'fix' the 5, try put the diagonal segment in the top and the horizontal and vertical segments in the bottom, i.e. a1, a2, h, g2, c, d1, d2 in this 3rd picture:

I updated the font to have the 5 as described by jffry101. I also fixed the minor flaw on the 3 and made lowercase X more lowercase looking.
