Very effective, I like the way you mix two apparently irreconcilable concepts.

This also adds a strange lighting effect that more conventional engraving roman font would not have. Definitely excellent. I download immediately.

Every glyph hold its own unique charm yet contributes to the overall distessed effect.

Very creative stuff.

p2p… Thanks for noticing the “unique charm”. I'm eager to get started on LC and punctuation, but this particular face is time-consuming since I'm trying not to re-use “strokes” from similar forms. Each one really has to be built from scratch (…but everyone here already understands this kind of obsession!)

It seems indeed very difficult to progress in these with the same constant cleverness and charm, I could not even imagine you could do Lowercase. Keep up the courage, we're behind you, take your time, and and keep amazing us.

Very cool effect. Beautiful and effective demo pic. 10/10

PS: This was certainly not on his mind, when the author wrote the following:

"An der Spitze der euroäischen Schriften stehen die römischen Versalien, aufgebaut aus Dreieck, Kreis und Geviert, den denkbar einfachsten und denkbar gegensätzlichsten Formen."

A quote possibly by Herbert Bayer, 1925, needs to be confirmed.

this looks like a font an artist would produce during the cubist period. primitive, modern, and classic at the same time. great vision to be able to use some of the same bricks in such a random manner and still achieve a cohesive result. very nice indeed.
