Another ordinary purpose-built 7-segment LCD digits. All characters have same width, punctuation is narrower, all are partially overlapping to leave no gaps.

Can you remember when there were pricetags on shelves in store printed templates with segments to fill with black marker to form digits?
Ofcourse I do! :D
occasionally those are still being used, in more low-end retail
