Initially inspired by origami, I started by creating tactile letterforms from a single strip of paper. I then picked out the central line of each horizontal, vertical and diagonal strip, which left me with a very simple, disjointed, linear set of glyphs. Finally I extended each line to get a 3D effect. I think the result has quite a retro futuristic feel (if you know what I mean). Definitely a display typeface. Full set of caps, incomplete lower-case and numerals, work in progress -
