My first attempt at a slab serif
Version 1.1 - I have adjusted the serif sizes the best I can. from the suggestions of Sed4tives and elmoyenique.

Why there is so much inconsistency in the serifs?
Actually, they look like two or three different fonts put together... It would be very convenient to equal the design of the serifs and other font parameters to give it uniformity, IMHO.
