I hope he comes back after what 77 did to him.
Well he most definetly deserves a tribute for his contributions. His amount of output was unreal!
:)
What a great tribute to someone we miss, a talented person, a creative mind, a friendly community member, a patient guide, a fearless explorer. Zeph's open mind and enthousiastic contributions should be in FontStruct.
One expects curtesy and search for understanding from fellow members, it's imperative to approach each other in a friendly neutral way and to discuss fonts and ideas in an objective manner. Sadly we still have some members who lack the ability to understand that everybody has the right to do things according to their vision and that we all can easily misunderstand badly formulated comments (specially when we're stressed or not well...). Someone wanted to control Zeph with hurtful public instead of PrivateMessage(!) comments which shocked quite a few members ..... yet another regularly present valuable explorer of styles and a helpful guide/teacher was forced to leave.
So: thank you ImmaPoo for your work and kindness!!
Thank you all!
I thought I had lost my enthusiasm for creating type. It turned out to be like any other art form in that it was beneficial to put it down for a while. While I don't see myself churning out designs by the hundreds like I used to, I'll still carry out ideas when I get them.
I'm completely glossing over what really happened, but I also don't see any reason to give my antagonists more attention. At this point, I have received far more supportive messages than negative ones. Lots of people wanted me to return, so here I am.
Welcome back!
