This is one of my more advanced non-pixel fonts.
Done with 2x2 filters, nudging, and the occasional composite.
Contrast is, for the most part, fully even, making it look like the horizontal strokes are a bit thicker than vertical strokes. Wherever needed, strokes are 1/2 the usual thickness. Horizontal strokes in the descenders are 3/4 the usual weight.
Inspired by ProCon.com.au's HV font series.
- Finish Latin-1 Extensions.
- Add smart quotes and everything in the SuperLatin keyboard layout. (KreativeKorp)
Also, FS bug: Pixel view on fontstructions with 2x2 filters is actually one notch too small, and when I correct that myself, it's a little too low, creating a shadowed (and sometimes, a slightly scanlined) appearence.
Even the artificial thickening doesn't quite hide the brick placement.
