  • This font's letter forms are based off of Wim Crouwel's "new alphabet." The design has changed a fair bit but stays true to the underlying design. This face is designed for display.

Hey, where's the Hebrew character support?

Phew. I was wondering if anybody else found that Crowel "a" just too heretical. Call me a philistine but I think each glyph should carry enough information about the character to be grasped without any jumping through hoops.

@intaglio: That was partly the reason I made the font. I do like the simplicity of Crouwel's alphabet. The reason its unrecognizable is it's not used every day. As I was working on this face I was beginning to be able to read the new letters, then words without trouble.

Thanks for the feedback. I made a few minor changes since I published the face. If you downloaded it, you may want to again.

hi, nice font. my only comment is the designer's name is spelled crouwel with a "u". you should probably change so your font will come up when someone searches for wim crouwel not crowel :)

Minor changes to the "e", "!" and "?". Shout out to suds for the direction.
