This font almost made itself, when I found out that you could make an almost regular hexagon with vertical segments 9 bricks long and angled segments at 4*sqrt(5) = 8.94

Now, I'm having some trouble with the macron. As the design doesn't allow horizontal strokes, I can't make a simple line. I have tried tilting it to either side, but that would be easily confused with either acute or grave. A single bend would result in a circumflex or a caron/háček (or even a breve, which is the exact opposite of a macron). Two bends would look like a tilde, and even if I reversed it, it would be confusing. So I have landed on three bends, which makes a sort of crown or moustache. The shape is pleasing and unambiguous, but is it legible? If anyone is used to reading macrons (such as speakers of Latvian or Māori), I would like to hear your opinion.

How Make it?
I made "Hexagon" (it almost made itself), with slightly different dimensions. I like your double-storey g! My g looks medieval next to yours :)
