I wanted to create a light serif typeface that is clear and readable and at the same time sort of elegant. Don't know whether I did all this, really...

Pretty! I like the subtle contrast. It reminds me a bit of SuperBrugsen's font, except Augustine is much more elegant. Just look at SuperBrugsen's ugly and inconsistent top serifs here: http://intersite.dk/Clubs/CommonDrive/Components/GetWWWFile.aspx?fileID=39448

I rate this a 10/10!

Beautiful and very usable. Perhaps L is a tad wide. Excellent work... once again. 10/10

I've uploaded a making of video: https://youtu.be/FqZYBX_-Rjw

Some of the characters you see are no longer the same in the current version, though...

You have succeeded in creating a clear, light and readable face.
Excellent video - it displays the creativity and patience required for this type of design.

Wow! Such a consistent, legible, and downright beautiful typeface! Every glyph looks perfectly in its place.

May I suggest adding slight curves to the inside of terminals on letters like C, S and a? To me, these letters look a tiny bit "dry" without them. Of course, it depends on what you think would be best.

Great to see follow your process in the video and what a beautifully crafted font!

Thanks for all your feedback.

I adjusted the L and the ð.

@ETHproductions: I'd rather let the terminals stay like they are, I hope you understand.

What a beauuuty! My 10 is for you, as usual. BTW I want to propose you another way to make the "a". What do you think about it?

again another great font in your portfolio

Ooooh...

So nice. Love it!

I'm curious how you do those smooth curves spannung several blocks! I guess there are still some functions to learn; is there an advanced tutorial on how to do these?

Thanks y'all, sorry for the late replay.

@elmoyenique Interesting proposal. I think that it looks slightly more bulky and thus fits less into the overall character of the typeface.

@unci You can span bricks over more that one grid element by switching on the Expert Mode (upper right in the FontStructor) and then going to Menu > View > Filters. I usually set the Brick Size to 2 in both directions but of course everyone is free to play around with that. Hope that helped.
