For this type face I was inspired by the posters created for the iconic music venue The Fillmore in San Francisco in the 60s and 70s. I wanted the letter forms to look hand crafted and lose, but still easily legible which was difficult using a grid and blocks! Some of the thickness and curves still need to be improved and I am currently working on a second draft with different up strokes on the Bs, Ds etc. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! -
