I'll take these suggestions into account, especially the pesky D. The B might match as well. As for the E, I like the third/fourth options, except the left stroke is completely connected to the top stroke.
The idea behind this font is that it is geometric and completely based on horizontal, vertical, and a diagonal line moving to the lower left, with a few minor exceptions for legibility (e.g. N, which would require a diagonal in the other direction). This is the style that is used in this font.
