@faux_icing it is possible layer by layer. if you turned off all layers but one, you could use selection tool (not the A shortcut) to select just that visible layer, press C and in new non-color fonstruction paste with V.
Is this the first game that has two different character widths for on screen text? I wonder how those games handle text strings (for 8 wide vs 16 wide characters)?
