This is a proposed modification of Lontara script that endeavors to rejuvenate the ancient script, broadening its applicability within contemporary Malay / Indonesian linguistic frameworks.
The shape of typography is inspired from Kawatu, a modern and futuristic interpretation of traditional Lontara script, developed by Aditya Bayu Perdana.
Modified lontara include; Diacriticmarks above and below, Spacing standardized inter-word, Alternatelowercase Sindarin-like reading style.
The script has 45 basic characters, consisting 23 Terang and 22 Padam letters. Terang letters is associated with an inherent /a/ vowel. Capital letters represent the Terang letters, in keyboard input and Kaganga series will be KGX-CJU-TDN-PBM-YRL-WSA-FQH-ZV.
The 'X' and 'U' represent sounds /Nga/ and /Nya/. And FQ-ZV are modified extra letters, adapted from the Buginese Lontara /Mpa/Ngka/Nra/Nca/ evolves into /Fa/Qa/Za/Va/.
The Padam shares the same letters in lowercase as Terang, exceptforthe/Nya/. The series will be kgx-cj-tdn-pbm-yrl-wsa-fqh-zv, with a Sindarin-like reading style.
Vowel notation includes /i/u/é/o/ə/ in keyboard input: i-u-E-o-e.
