  • My first attempt at Fontstruct for my project at The University of the West of England. This font is based on the theme word that I chose, Ornate. I decided to look at weeds and went with the idea that they grow where they are not wanted. I chose to use a normal base letter in the background of the font and place weeds on top; where they are not wanted. The name, 'Hidden Beauty' spurs from the fact that we automatically hate weeds however if you really look at them you would see that they can actually be quite beautiful.
