Hey FK! Thanks for this one. It's really special for me. I believe b-boying is the highest competitive dance form in the world. And I wasn't planning to release anything along those lines for the competition, but considering my background, there's no way I could let this pass without a response. ;-) I just wish I had more time. Hold on to your seats, because now ... IT'S ON!!
To be honest, funk, I thought the, inclines on the middle crossbars looked 'unbalanced' for the Balance Beam font, but the breaks introduced here are, to say the least, inspired, as is (are?) the dual meaning of the name.
This may be the last think what the hardcore* break dance practitioners and aficionados think of, but it's the first visual *I* get at the mention of this dance form.
thanks p2p and thalamic. gee, gene. i didn't mean nuthin. i was just expressin' myself. but i see you take hip-hop very seriously. everybody better recognize. and by producing Throw Down, you have definitely made your point. Break was just an experiment in doing a stencil font. somehow the name and sample came together and before i knew it i was paying homage to break dancing. your work (Throw Down) is truly straight up respect that only a true B-Boy could do. you are truly geneus1.

Repeats to self: Haste makes waste. Haste makes waste. Haste makes waste.
@G1: Can't wait to see what you come up with.

*Is that even the right term?
