  • Are you using Lexend font? You should try Lexita Mono! - It's one of monspaced font that pairs playfully with Lexend! Unlike most of Monospaced fonts, Lexita Mono font uses the single storey "a", this similar style can also be found in the Colophon Foundy's Space Mono font.

"Lexita Mono" is a pixelated monospaced font that designed to pair with "Lexend" fonts with playful/student-styled single storey "a", simple flat lowecase "t", modern flat top "3", and classic-styled closed "4". "Lexita Mono" is the new version of "Ghea Code" with many optimizations. Unlike Lexend where the main focus is on the readability, Lexita Mono is designed for coding purposes, and provides all entire vulgar fractions. Since Lexita Mono font style is the combination between pixelated and monospaced, this font can actually used as the heading figures or either texts that actually intended as the monospaced font (like numbers that could change).

Just like the Ghea Code font, Lexita Mono font is officially licensed under SIL Open Font License, you can use Lexita Mono font at anywhere for personal or commercial purposes. Just don't sell this font anywhere! Both Ghea Code font and Lexita Mono will be still be updated together, as well as my other fonts.

Formerly known as "Ghea Code Plus" before 17/04/2026, and "Lexita" before 28/05/2026.

    Tips:

    1. If you using Lexend font at your website/app, you can use the Lexita Mono font for the code blocks, this type of pairing can make your monospaced font style fits more better with Lexend font. This font can also to be used together with Readex Pro, but Readex Pro does have double storey lowercase "a" instead. So, if you using the Readex Pro font, Rexina Mono font match much better for code blocks with Readex Pro as the primary font. While the rest of Rexina Mono glyphs are based from Lexita Mono, Rexina Mono uses double storey lowercase "a" and slight-less-sharp uppercase "A" & "V" instead.

    2. If you prefering the monospaced font that the glyphs are based from Lexend or Readex Pro, you can use Illinois Mono. But Illinois Mono font uses serif-less digit "1" and curved top "3" instead, winch these could cause a ambiguity and confusions, and may not the best for Lexend and Readex Pro font pairings with monospaced fonts. So, it's recommended to use Lexita Mono or Rexina Mono despite these monospaced fonts are blocky for Lexend and Readex Pro to reduce the ambiguity.

    3. All of our fontstructions (Including Lexita Mono) are currently only compatible with TTF file downloads. So, in order to get OTF or WOFF2 version works perfectly, you have to download it as TTF file, and then convert the TTF font file you downloaded at EverythingFonts.

DISCLAIMER: XLS2009's Lexita Mono font is not affiliated with Lexend font, this also applies to other font creators and fonts with similar name made by different creators.
