This is a font I made in several hours for a class. It's inspired by the Elder Futhark runic alphabet that was used throughout Europe from the 1st to 9th Century. Futhark was named after the first six runes, just like how Alphabet is named after the first two Greek letters. Being a separate alphabet, there are characters in each language not present in the other. All fonts that copy Elder Futhark runes make changes in some way.
Compared to more accurate fonts, this one is meant to be more legible to a modern English reader. The original characters are often quite different from the characters we are used to. There are no symbols, numbers, or lowercase characters in the original alphabet. This font is designed to be used where the aesthetic of the Elder Futhark runes is desired but legibility is important.
