this is very nice. i did something called Mummification which reminds me of this, but yours is more detailed. i would increase the width for the space character and change the license :) your technique looks like someone scratched through the glyphs. very visceral.

much appreciated licence advice!! this is the first time i've created anything so wouldn't have even crossed my mind! the idea was based on smashed glass... the theme i was given was sharp so i went down the shards of glass route.

Great effect! I dig the d for the ascender. Have you tried to curve the descender of g and y as for the j?

no i haven't but im using.. i think ariel? as a sorta guide to roughly decide what shapes i want the letters so im going to leave them as they are. should be finished by saturday, yipee!

Great smashed windshield effect. I agree with igorrossi about the descenders. Even if you use an existing font for guidance, you can deviate from it any time at will. 10/10
