Operation Iraqi Liberation (OIL) was the original title of a document assessing the strategies, approaches, details of a possible military intervention in Iraq, reportedly. Later it had been changed to Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) to avoid any malevolent misconstruing.

Nice work. I really like the M, N, and Z.

What do you think about splitting the * down the middle?
Comment by aphoria 2nd october 2009
@aphoria: I've tried and it looked like the British flag.
There are some glyphs I'm not sure of myself, and wait for people's opinion. What do you think of the lc w by the way?
Comment by Frodo7 2nd october 2009
I like the a.

What about making more the LC look like LC glyphs. Maybe the e, m, n, and r?

Great font. The sample contains all the usual suspects ... but who could be cynical enough to think that they did it for the money ....... ;-)

Nice one on all fronts Frodo

Ethical Petro-Imperialism

The inspiration to make this fontstruction came from IWR Bush Cartoon website. If you want to do a workout on your abs and diaphragm there is no better place to go (see the link below).

Once again, Frodo7, you fail to disappoint. I find the amount of Top Picks you have to be unparalleled, if not phenomenal. But with all the work you put in fonts, I can see why you hold such a number! This font is, dare I say it, very cool. From its forceful look when you first see it, to its comfortable feel when you first use it, this font is 100% (as if it were an adjective) Frodo7!

The metal MMX is incredible.

@thalamic: Thank you for your comment. It is obvious now that only a few like the Roman numerals.
Comment by Frodo7 3rd january 2010
Come on now, that's not fair!

Without Roman Numerals, how would we tell what time it was on old-timey/fancy clocks and watches?

Or without Roman Numerals, how would we know what year a movie was made? ;^)

P.S. Seriously, love your beautiful stencil font!
