Lots of lovely solutions here, but I don't see it as a monospaced font, IMHO. Working forgetting this obligation and increasing or reducing the width of some glyphs (i, j, m, etc.) can give a lot of freshness to the general set of this interesting proposal.
I tried something similar with this font, you can take a look if you find any interesting ideas among its glyphs.
