I'm glad to see a design based on a hexagonal pattern. You did a very good job cleverly using the filters, I guess. The demo pic is beautiful, as always. The T looks a bit weak, but you had to make a compromise to keep the letters monospace. This way the individual letters themselves fit in a hexagon, and the multiline text results in a larger hexagonal pattern. 10/10

Thanks Frodo. I forgot to enable Share-Alike (remedied). You can see for yourself that there are no filter—just regular bricks. I'm glad you noticed why I had to make it monospaced. Your idea was spot-on about larger hex blocks so I updated the sample to reflect it. Thanks again.

Hail to the King...er, Queen, baby! Regal, all the way through.

And this progression from V to U to Y is just delightful. I’m loving the subtractive strokes on Q and 0.

As always, super inspiring achievement, Ata. Thanks! With this you (and, by extension, afrojet) have sparked a really intriguing idea in my head. I wonder if I can pull it off...

In any event, there’s great new possibilities to explore with multi-layered (and/or outline and fill) fontstructions.

I'm traveling with just my iPhone right now, so I can't see the whole font. The sample is a great tease. I can't wait to see the whole thing. The hexegon pattern reminds me of those intricate military strategy board games my older cousins would play when I was a kid.

@ૐ: The Q and 0 left no other choice. I always find that limitations force creativity. Thanks for inspiring me so many times before; I'm glad I could return the favor this once. I have no doubt that if anyone can pull it off, it is you. Can't wait see it!

@aj: Lining up triangular, pentagonal, hexagonal, and octagonal shapes has always intrigued me. (Think Islamic tile patterns from Spain). They lead to such frustrations and fun. Here's another, larger, iPhone phriendly sample, John. :-)
