  • Readable angles, freedom in limits. The concept was, quite simply, to create a replacement for one of the fonts in the game City of Heroes, hence the name. It did turn out to be slightly too heavy, so I'll be working on the medium version next...! (Also, it looks great with an automatic slant.)

And very good it is too. K,Q,X,Z offer nicely believable (and legible!) flavour.

Thank you, especially for noticing those! I agonised over the K and X, trying to find a way to make them unique without killing the strong theme to the angles. (Sadly, the punctuation killed that theme rather cleanly, but punctuation tends to do that.) The Z was also brutal because I knew I had to cleave it from the 2, but there was really no way to get a crossbar that looked anything other than a mess. I still worry about it. It keeps me up at night!
The Q, I'm totally at ease with. The question is... do you think the G makes sense, or am I sticking that tail where it doesn't need to be?

You were right. These works are very special. I like Paragon Black the most, but Beans and Altaica also worth of special mention. 10/10
